Venus is retrograde!
The Moon is starting off in its exalted sign of Taurus this week, lending a luxurious element to this Monday morning. So it’s a great day to remember the magic of simple earthly pleasures.
That said, Taurus is ruled by Venus, which is currently next door in one of its least favorite signs, Aries – and as of this past Saturday, it’s also retrograde. It’ll head back into Pisces toward the end of the month, but for the next couple of weeks we are likely to see some challenges in the areas of desires and relationships.
It’s a time when themes of independence and interdependence are going to be front and center: you might find yourself asking, can I do this alone? Do I need someone else’s opinion? Is this friendship or romantic relationship right for me? Or even, why haven’t I been getting the results I want from my actions?
Mercury in Aries
And we’ll be probably be feeling some extra sparks courtesy of Mercury, which is also now in Aries as of early this morning. Tomorrow it’ll be making a sextile to shadowy Pluto – and at mid-month it’s also going to be stationing retrograde.
It’s a wild month!
With two eclipses also coming up, and Neptune heading into Aries at the end of the month too, this March is a wild one. It’ll be a month when we need to ask ourselves – is this a time when I need to take the gloves off and just say what I want to say? Or do I need to dig deep and find the patience to weather this discomfort? Only you can say which one will be right for you.
This week’s theme: “be strategic”
So the theme for this week is, “be strategic.” Aries energy is amazing for getting things done, and its fire is absolutely necessary when we need to defend ourselves or others, or compete for the best outcome. But it can also be destructive when it burns too hot. So before you bite back, or cut something or someone off, take a minute to breathe and think things through. And then, do what’s right for you.
