Full Moon in Sag kicks off the week!
We’re kicking the week off with a glorious Full Moon in Sagittarius, which begins today and will be at its maximum around 1pm Pacific Time on Wednesday.
Jupiter heads into luscious Cancer and meets Mercury
This Full Moon is ruled by Jupiter, and we’re in luck, because after about a year in Gemini, where it has had kind of a hard time, today Jupiter is moving on into watery Cancer – a sign where it really gets to spread its generous, expansive vibe.
Mercury entered Cancer yesterday, so today we’ve also got Jupiter and Mercury conjoining in the sign of the crab, lending emotional intelligence and the potential for insight to the start of the week.
While the Sag Full Moon and Jupiter and Mercury might have us wanting to gallop off into the sunset, we do also have Mercury and Jupiter squaring Saturn and Neptune in Aries. So don’t be surprised if you find you’re still aware of some limitations or burdens right now. Remember: Saturn is that heavy chainmail cloak that we’re wearing in our three-year quest through the forest. It’s not easy, but it’s helping us build the muscles we need for the time ahead.
Digging into our shadows with Venus and Pluto
And just in case you thought we were done with transits this Monday morning, we’ve ALSO got Venus in Taurus squaring shadowy Pluto. Venus in Taurus is all about sensuality and material pleasures. So if you find yourself feeling worried about money, health, or something else in the material realm, Pluto might be inviting you to explore the deeper psychological realms and find your own buried treasure.
Venus and Mercury meet up at mid-week, and the Full Moon squares the fateful Lunar Nodes
By the time the Full Moon is at its maximum on Wednesday, Venus and Mercury will both have moved on, and will be connecting up with each other instead – and we’ll also have the Gemini Sun and Sag Moon squaring up with the fateful Lunar Nodes – so by mid-week you could be ready for some profound realizations about how your material or emotional life connects to your path forward.
Mars and Uranus end the week on an unpredictable note
Finally, at the end of the week we’ll have Mars squaring unpredictable Uranus. So it’s a weekend to take things step by step, tread carefully, and be ready for unexpected mishaps.
This week’s theme: “let the energy work for you”
I’m not gonna lie – this is a pretty extreme astrological week, with lots of tension in the mix. Some of it may feel really good, but there could be some difficult moments too. So the theme for this week is, “let the energy work for you.” You may not have a choice as to what exactly is going to be happening this week – but you can choose how you react and what you let it do for you. And with a little dexterity, I think it might be possible to channel the intensity of the week into some really interesting and transformative changes. But we’ll have to be open to the shapes that it can take, and not be too attached to specific outcomes.
